Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how AllPS ROMs ("the App," "we," "us") handles information when you use our Android application. We built AllPS ROMs to work without requiring an account, and we've tried to keep this policy as direct as the app itself.

1. Information We Do Not Collect

To be upfront about what this app doesn't do:

• We do not require or offer account creation, sign-in, or user profiles.
• We do not collect your name, email address, or phone number.
• We do not process payments or collect payment information — the app has no purchases.
• We do not access your contacts, photos, camera, or microphone.
• We do not sell personal information to third parties.

2. Information We Do Collect

2.1 Usage Analytics

We use Firebase Analytics (a Google service) to understand how the app is used in aggregate — for example, which platform filters are used, how many downloads complete successfully, and which screens are visited. This data is tied to an anonymous installation identifier, not to you personally, and includes technical details like device model, OS version, app version, and country-level location derived from IP address.

2.2 Crash and Diagnostic Reports

We use Firebase Crashlytics to automatically receive crash reports and error logs when something goes wrong. These reports include device information, stack traces, and app state at the time of the crash, so we can fix bugs. They do not include the contents of files you've downloaded.

2.3 Advertising Data

AllPS ROMs is ad-supported and uses Google AdMob to display banner, native, rewarded, and app-open ads. AdMob and its partners may collect your advertising identifier, IP address, device information, and general location to serve and measure ads.

Where required (for example, for users in the European Economic Area and UK), we present a consent form before loading ads, in line with Google's User Messaging Platform. You can choose to allow personalized ads, limit ads to non-personalized, or, where applicable, decline optional data collection — the app will continue to work either way. Rewarded ads (used to unlock faster downloads) are always optional and only load after you actively choose to watch one.

2.4 Files You Download

Game files you download are saved directly to your device's public storage — either the Downloads folder or a location you choose in Settings via Android's Storage Access Framework. These files stay on your device; we do not have access to them once downloaded, and we do not scan, index, or upload their contents.

3. Permissions the App Requests

• Storage / media access — to save downloaded ROM files to your Downloads folder or a folder you select.
• Notifications — to show download progress and completion status.
• Network access — required to browse the catalog, download files, and load ads.

The app does not request access to contacts, camera, microphone, SMS, or precise location.

4. Third-Party Services

AllPS ROMs relies on the following third-party services, each governed by its own privacy policy:

• Google AdMob (advertising)
• Google Firebase Analytics (usage analytics)
• Google Firebase Crashlytics (crash reporting)
• Google Play Services (app distribution and core Android functionality)

We do not control how these providers handle data beyond what we configure, and we encourage you to review Google's privacy policy for details on their practices.

5. Your Choices and Controls

• Ad consent — you can review and change your ad consent choice at any time; on devices where Google surfaces it, this is available through the app or your device's Google settings.
• Analytics opt-out — analytics and crash reporting can be disabled at the device level through your Android system settings (Google Settings → Ads, and Google Settings → Usage & diagnostics).
• Downloaded files — since files are saved to your own device storage, you can delete them at any time using the app's delete option or any file manager.
• Uninstalling — removes all app-local data and settings from your device. It does not remove aggregated, de-identified analytics already recorded.

6. Data Retention

Analytics and crash data are retained by Firebase according to Google's standard retention windows (generally up to 14 months for Analytics), after which it is deleted or aggregated. We do not maintain a separate long-term database of individual usage records.

7. Children's Privacy

AllPS ROMs is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with information, contact us using the details below and we will take appropriate action.

8. Your Rights (GDPR & CCPA)

If you are located in the European Economic Area, UK, or California, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of information associated with your device, and to object to certain processing (including personalized advertising). Because we do not hold directly identifying information, most requests are best exercised through your device and Google account settings; you can also contact us and we will assist within the limits of what data we hold.

9. Data Security

We rely on Google's infrastructure (Firebase, AdMob, Play Services) for the data described above, which applies industry-standard security measures. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the app changes. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
